Amberle began her hairstyling journey in 2009 in Houston, TX, where she pursued advanced educational opportunities while mastering the fundamentals of her craft. She later relocated to the greater Grand Rapids area, where she spent a decade gaining diverse experiences, including educating fellow hairstylists in refining their skills. Additionally, she had the chance to assist and design hair for photoshoots, fashion publications, hair competitions, and trend forecasting, while creating innovative educational experiences based on emerging trends. She and the team she worked with won many awards, including the North American Hairstyling Awards. In 2020, she fulfilled her dream of living in Chicago, where she now serves the greater Chicago area in Elmhurst at Zazu Salons, creating amazing looks with her 15+ years experience.
As a busy woman herself, Amberle understood the demand for quick yet effective hair coloring, blonde and extension services and identified an opportunity for clients to enjoy a distinct and elevated experience that did not require a high maintenance plan. She honed her skills to cater to the needs of busy women, offering multidimensional colors and cuts in under three hours, and focused on specializing in blonde, dimensional color, and K-tip extensions. Recognizing the need for a personal escape, she believes hair services are a treat for those struggling to find time for themselves. Zazu provides the elevated salon experience that these women desire, while Amberle provides the exceptional specialty services.
